The Christmas Tree (Substitute!)

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I shared something with you, life seemed to get a bit in way of blogging. But I am all pumped up and excited for this Christmas season! It is such a joyous time of year and as I get older I seem to forget that. Often bills and other adult things get in the way of the true meaning of the holidays. Gift exchanges are not about monetary values but about seeing the excitement on the face of the person that you are gifting. It’s a time where you really test your knowledge about your friends and loved ones and give them something (even small) that would make them really happy. In regards to family, it’s a time to put away all offenses and remember the bright moments that you shared!

One of my favorite things about this season is the smell of the Christmas tree! That pine scent fills the room and overwhelms the house with the Christmas spirit. However the pleasant scent comes with quite a bit of responsibility, such as watering, messy needles and loss of space in the house. I think that if you aren’t comfortable with a live tree in your house, that’s totally fine! Here are a few lovely alternatives for you to consider. As long as you stick with your creativity and embrace the Christmas spirit, it doesn’t matter what your Christmas tree is made of!
